Democratic State Senator Mark Manendo has resigned after an investigation found he ran afoul of the Legislature’s anti-harassment policy and engaged in other misconduct.
According to a statement from the Senate Democratic Caucus, an independent investigation turned up no fewer than 14 instances of questionable interactions this session alone.
