Work On I-15 Near St. George Set To Begin

The Utah Department of Transportation is starting work on construction projects on Interstate 15 near St. George.

The St. George Spectrum reports the bridges over the Virgin River will be replaced as the 15 goes into the center of St. George.

Additionally, new lanes will be added to improve traffic flow from Bloomington to the interchange at Dixie Drive.

The project is set to take until the end of the year to complete, and the price tag is around $28 million.

The department believes, though, traffic will not be impacted all that much during the day, though lane closures may take place at night during the project.
