Zion National Park officials say rain and snow have closed parts of two trails because they're unsafe for hikers.
Rangers in Southern Utah said Wednesday that Lower Emerald Pool Trail has been blocked by several rock and debris slides caused by snow and ice, and parts of the Sand Bench Trail is affected by river undercutting.
Authorities said in a release they aren't expecting the trails to be same for crews to assess the damage until after Monday's Martin Luther King holiday.
Visitors can also see the Lower Emerald Pools Falls from Kayenta Trail, which is a 2-mile round trip. The Sand Bench Trail Loop, meanwhile, is open from the Court of the Patriarchs.
Though Zion is now in its winter offseason, officials have said there's still a steady stream of visitors in the increasingly popular park.
