R.C. Farms Sold To Housing Development

A housing development will be built on the site of a famous North Las Vegas pig farm.

The 150-acre Sedona Ranch will be built on R.C. Farms, a pig farm once featured on the Travel Channel for using leftovers from the Strip to feed its pigs.

The announcement came from former North Las Vegas Mayor Mike Montandon, who handled the listing and sale of R.C. Farms.

The farm went on the market in March at an asking price of more than $30 million. Sedona Ranch Investment Partners bought the property for $23 million dollars in November.

Montandon said the pigs will leave the farm by Jan. 1.
