Eight of Caesars Entertainment Corp.'s nine Las Vegas hotel-casinos will start phasing out free parking starting next month.
Caesars Entertainment Corp. announced Tuesday that they'll start charging for valet services at the Linq and Harrah's next month and they'll begin charging for self-parking later once new parking equipment is installed.
Caesars, The Cromwell, Paris, Planet Hollywood, Bally's and the Flamingo will all start charging for parking starting in 2017.
The company says guests have reported that parking has become scarce and it hopes paid parking will help cut down on the problem.
Parking will remain free at Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino where there's a much bigger parking area and the company says there aren't similar problems.
The move follows a similar paid parking policy that MGM Resorts International rolled out earlier this year.
