Campaign Surrogates Flock To Nevada Before Early Voting Ends

Bill Clinton is joining DJ Steve Aoki for a concert at UNLV aimed at bolstering critical Democratic turnout numbers in battleground Nevada.

The former president is one of several surrogates in Nevada on Thursday to help his wife.

Vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine's wife Anne Holton will be campaigning in Reno, while Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro and his brother, Rep. Joaquin Castro, will rally the vote in Las Vegas.

On the Republican side, Donald Trump Jr. and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich will campaign for Trump.

Turnout is expected to determine the outcome in tight presidential and congressional races.

More than 617,000 people have cast ballots during the early voting period that wraps up Friday. That's about 41 percent of Nevada's 1.5 million active registered voters.
