NV GOP, Trump Campaign Ordered To Court

In light of a lawsuit against them, representatives from the Nevada Republican Party and the Donald Trump campaign were ordered to court Wednesday.

Talking Points Memo reports it's in response to a suit filed by Democrats in Nevada regarding alleged voter intimidation during the state's early voting period.

The suit goes on to suggest the campaign and party may be violating the Voting Rights Act.

To that end, a federal judge mandated both groups to provide any kind of materials they gave to people they hired to watch polls as part of evidence in the suit.

The lawsuit filed in Nevada was one of a few filed by state Democratic parties across the country to their Republican counterparts and the Trump campaign, including in neighboring Arizona.
