6 Injured At Burning Man After Camp Collapses

RENO, Nev. (AP) — Six people have been injured after a theme camp collapsed at the Burning Man festival.

The Reno Gazette Journal reports (http://on.rgj.com/2bEPs2Y ) that one person had to be airlifted off the site after the structure collapsed Monday night, the rest were treated at the festival's on-site medical facility.

Burning Man spokesman Jim Graham says one person received X-rays on-site and the rest of the injuries were minor.

Event organizers have closed the structure.

Burning Man is a 9-day event in the Black Rock Desert that draws as many as 70,000 people. The festival kicked off on Sunday.
