NBA Second-Round Draft Picks Include UNLV’s McCaw And Zimmerman

Two former University of Nevada Las Vegas basketball players have made program history.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports Stephen Zimmerman, Jr. and Patrick McCaw have been drafted by the NBA in the second round.

The Milwaukee Bucks took McCaw with the eighth pick – 38 th overall -  and agreed to trade McCaw’s rights to the Golden State Warriors for cash.

The Orlando Magic drafted Zimmerman soon after – the 11 th pick, or 41 st overall.

This is the first draft since 1991 in which the NBA has chosen more than one Rebel player.
