A conservative lawyer who's been denied a chance to represent rancher Cliven Bundy in Nevada says he'll sue the federal judge handling Bundy's case, along with President Barack Obama, U.S. Sen. Harry Reid and one of Reid's sons.
Attorney Larry Klayman says he'll file a lawsuit Tuesday alleging that Bundy's constitutional rights are being violated, and the 70-year-old cattleman should be released from federal custody.
Klayman and Bundy's lawyer, Joel Hansen, want the court to dismiss the indictment against Bundy and 18 other defendants in an armed April 2014 confrontation with government officers.
Klayman heads the Washington, D.C.-based interest groups Judicial Watch and Freedom Watch, and is outspoken on conservative and libertarian positions.
