Boyd To Acquire Cannery, Marking Second Purchase In A Week

Boyd Gaming's betting big on area casinos.

The company announced Monday it was purchasing the Cannery Casino in North Las Vegas along with the Eastside Cannery for $230 million.

This comes just days after Boyd announced it was purchasing the Aliante Casino in North Las Vegas as well.

Boyd's latest purchases make the company the owner of 12 properties throughout Southern Nevada.

Vegas Inc. reports the purchase is set to close by the third quarter of the year.
