Brothel owner Dennis Hof was expected to file for political office today, the last day candidates in Nevada can file for 2016 races.
The Las Vegas Sun reports Hof planned to run as a libertarian in Assembly District 36, which covers parts of Clark, Lincoln and Nye counties.
The seat is currently held by James Oscarson, a Republican, who has filed to run for re-election.
