Crystals Shopping Center May Have New Owner

The Crystals shopping center at CityCenter may soon have a new owner.

Union Gaming reports MGM and partners in the mixed-use development will sell Crystals to Simon, a property management firm that runs shopping centers, for a figure over $1 billion.

The sale has been anticipated for some months, according to Union Gaming.

The firm says money raised from the sale of Crystals could be used in MGM's efforts to buy out its partners in the Aria resort in CityCenter.
