Feds Raiding Las Vegas-Area Sites In Public Corruption Probe

Federal agents involved in a public corruption investigation are serving search warrants at a business, a government warehouse and a home in the Las Vegas area.

FBI spokeswoman Bridget Pappas released a statement saying the Thursday raids are at locations off Sunset Road and Riley Street southwest in Las Vegas, on Du Fort Avenue in Henderson, and at a storage facility off Park Street in Boulder City.

Pappas says no arrests have been made, and none are expected.

A spokeswoman for U.S. Attorney Daniel Bogden said documents in the case are sealed by a court. She declined additional comment.

Other details weren't immediately made public.

The statement says the Las Vegas FBI public corruption unit, the Internal Revenue Service and the federal Interior Department's office of inspector general are involved, along with the Las Vegas police criminal intelligence section.
