Despite facing criticism from some members of his own party over a tax package he pushed earlier this year, a new poll shows Gov. Brian Sandoval is one of the most popular governors in the country.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports 66 percent of Nevadans surveyed approve of Sandoval's performance. Twenty percent were against, and 14 percent were undecided.
Sandoval's 66 percent rating makes him the fourth most popular governor in the country. He was only beaten by the governors of Maryland, Massachusetts and South Dakota.
In case you were wondering, the least popular governor in the country is Sam Brownback of Kansas.
He has a 26 percent approval rating.
