Searchlight Justice Of The Peace Injured In Plane Crash

Richard Hill, Searchlight's justice of the peace, is recovering after a plane crash earlier this week.

The Elko Daily Free Press  reports Hill and his son were in a single engine Piper Cherokee plane that lost power Wednesday during takeoff.

The plane crashed from a height around 2,600 feet.

Hill and his son David were taken to and treated Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital for their injuries, but have since been released.
