Entrepreneurs Pitch Ideas In Reno 'Shark Tank'-Style Contest

RENO, Nev. (AP) — Ten Nevada entrepreneurs are set to pitch their big ideas to Lt. Governor Mark Hutchison in a "Shark Tank"-style competition with a $13,000 grand prize.

The competition is scheduled for Tuesday at the 4th Annual Governor's Conference on Business at the Atlantis casino in Reno. Winners will be announced the same day.

Finalists include entrepreneurs pitching cowboy boot covers, drones, craft beer and women's ski gear. Contestants will have two minutes to pitch their idea to a panel of judges, and three minutes to answer questions in a format similar to the show "Shark Tank."
