Lifeguard Issues Resolved, Cowabunga Bay Stays Open

Cowabunga Bay Water Park in Henderson said today it has sorted out issues with lifeguard certification and is open as usual.

A statement from the general manager said that all lifeguards' certifications are current and valid and are compliant with all state and local health code requirements.

Some of the lifeguards had received training from the National Aquatic Safety Company, which the Southern Nevada Health District told Cowabunga Bay yesterday had some incorrect information in its manual.  That reportedly has now been removed.
