Las Vegas Immigration Protesters Arrested

Five immigration protesters were cited for trespassing after trying to get into Representative Joe Heck's Las Vegas office. Laura Martin of the Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada says the incident occurred Wednesday afternoon. At one point roughly 50 protestors were in the office trying to get access to the congressman. They were told by a staff member there were too many to go inside. Some protestors read aloud stories of constituents in Heck's district who would benefit from immigration reform.

This protest was one of 27 being held at congressional offices around the country. Heck's office has not provided comment on the incident.
