Southern Nevada's congressional representatives all voted in favor of new laws that attack the problem of sex trafficking. Republican Joe Heck, Democrat Dina Titus and Democrat Steven Horsford signed a series of bills in the House Tuesday that tackling the growing problem.
One of the bills makes it a crime to advertise for sex trafficking online. Another creates a $25 million grant for the Justice Department to help in prosecutions. Other bills focus on better support systems for victims. A similar bill must now make it through the Senate.
