Congressman Mark Amodei

Congressman Mark Amodei is looking for the middle ground on Yucca Mountain. He doesn't want to just shut up the planned nuclear dump but he wants to make sure it's used to boost the Nevada economy. This is a change of direction in the congressional delegation and we ask him about it. Then we ask about the assessment of the Washington Post that the current Republican House of RepresenTatives is the most inactive since the Nixon administration.

You won’t find a paywall here. Come as often as you like — we’re not counting. You’ve found a like-minded tribe that cherishes what a free press stands for. If you can spend another couple of minutes making a pledge of as little as $5, you’ll feel like a superhero defending democracy for less than the cost of a month of Netflix.
