Ottavio Gesmundo: A Crossbow Artist Exposes Animal Abuse

Ottavio Gesmundo is one of the many flashy acts in Las Vegas. He shoots apples off his wife’s head with a crossbow. But back in the 1980s, when he was just getting started in Las Vegas, he secretly filmed a major headliner abusing orangutans, and inadvertently fueled an animal rights movement on the Strip. Ottavio Gesmundo talks about that hidden video, and why it almost ruined his career.
