Nevada Democratic Party Chair Called Police On Protesters

Nevada’s Democratic Party chair called the police on protesters outside his home the night before the state’s caucuses.

William McCurdy II told Politico a group of Bernie Sanders supporters gathered at 11 p.m. last Friday, led by Maria Estrada of Los Angeles.

Estrada used a bullhorn to call for the party to avoid what she called “shenanigans,” implying the 2016 election was rigged against the Vermont senator.

Estrada has recently led demonstrations outside the homes of multiple Nevada and California government and party officials and police have been called a couple of times.
