Secretary Of State Says No Credible Reports Of Voter Fraud In Nevada

The Nevada secretary of state’s office says it has received no credible reports of voter fraud.

A spokeswoman in Republican Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske’s office said they had one filing that will be reviewed, but that they have not been contacted by any law enforcement agency about the midterm election.

The statement comes after Michael McDonald, the chair of the Nevada Republican Party, appeared on a conservative radio show last week and cast doubt on the integrity of the election, after Democrats saw sweeping victories in the majority of federal and state races.

The Nevada Independent reports Clark County Registrar of Voters Joe Gloria, Republican Governor Brian Sandoval and Washoe County’s registrar Deanna Spikula all denied any evidence of voter fraud being presented to their respective offices.
