A planned picketing of Palace Station Wednesday morning has been canceled.
The Culinary Union called off the event, saying Station Casinos has agreed to work to resolve issues.
The planned picket was connected to the multi-million dollar renovation of the property on Sahara Avenue and I-15. About 75 workers at Palace Station’s Grand Café were affected by layoffs or termination as the venue closed for a four-month renovation.
The union wanted to make sure those employees did not lose their jobs.
