Gov. Brian Sandoval and his wife, Kathleen, have finalized their divorce.
The governor first announced the pair planned to split in December, writing in a statement that the demands of public life had taken a toll on the couple’s 27-year marriage.
Records from the divorce proceeding, filed Monday in Washoe County Court, have been sealed.
In a joint statement on Tuesday, the couple indicated that they will not be discussing the matter publicly.
