The city of Henderson has plans to sell 55 acres of unoccupied land to the Oakland Raiders at a steep discount.
The parcel near the Henderson Municipal Airport is expected to be used as the team’s Nevada headquarters and practice space and carries a price tag of about half its estimated $12 million value.
No reason has been given for the price markdown.
Prior to this sales proposal, no other plans were under consideration for the land.
The City Council still has to approve the resolution.
