Parks in Southern Nevada can soon expect to see some upgrades, thanks to commissioners approving more than $77 million for improvement projects Tuesday.
The Las Vegas Sun reports public parks have been a big talking point of the Clark County Commission this past year. More than half the funds came from the county’s capital projects fund, and an additional $36 million came from the subdivision park fees fund.
New soccer fields, basketball courts, and splash pads will soon be seen at parks such as the Hollywood Regional Park and the park at Wigwam Avenue and Torrey Pines Drive.
