Performed will be music by Appermont, de Haan, Holst, Mozart, Nishimura, and Zare. The Saxophone and Woodwind Ensembles consist of college students, high school students who are dually enrolled at CSN, and community musicians. Instruments includes flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, saxophone, and percussion.

On display are works by 17 student artists from CSN’s Art & Art History Program. Included are ceramics, digital media, drawing, metal work, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. Works featured in this exhibition are included as part of the program's capstone experience and highlight the vast range of offerings within the CSN Art & Art History Program,
A reception with light refreshments will be held in the Artspace Gallery on December 12 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Elko's Western Folklife Center is heading back to Las Vegas this December for the National Finals Rodeo, and you’re invited to join them. This year’s lineup features an incredible mix of music and poetry from Gary Haleamau & Kāwili, R.W. Hampton, Darrell Holden, Annie Mackenzie, Jake Riley, Matt Robertson, Trinity Seely, R.P. Smith, Dave Stamey, and Sam Platts with a six-piece band.
Enjoy nine full shows, 10 open mics, hosted rodeo watch parties, dancing, and a gift show curated by the Western Folklife Center and featuring authentic, handmade cowboy gear and quality Western gifts from skilled makers across the West.

Las Vegas' unique monthly indoor art market is back celebrating local creativity with one-of-a-kind art from area artists and craftspeople, with live music and food trucks. This month’s charity raffle will benefit 18b The Las Vegas Arts District Neighborhood Association, committed to building a stronger and more connected downtown community, to help keep art in the Arts District.

Fur the Babies brings together The Animal Foundation, Henderson Pride, and the local drag community for an evening of entertainment, celebration, and lifesaving support. The event is organized by Miss Henderson Pride 2025, Nadia M Louis, whose passion for both animals and her community inspired this sure-to-be unforgettable night.
Cocktails begin at 9, followed by a high-energy show at 10 featuring drag performers who will donate their tips to the cause. Additional proceeds from raffle sales, jello shots, and Nadia’s donated show budget will be shared between The Animal Foundation and Henderson Pride, helping both organizations continue their important work in Southern Nevada.
Whether you go for the show, the community, or to support pets in need, Fur the Babies promises to be a night full of joy, generosity, and drag.

Sixteen years after leaving countless Forty Deuce fans heartbroken when the renowned club left the city's entertainment scene, Hollywood personality Ivan Kane is returning to the Las Vegas Strip. On Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025, Kane's legendary burlesque nightclub, Ivan Kane's Forty Deuce, will reopen in its original spot inside Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino. The completely reimagined venue will feature Kane’s one-of-a-kind Burlesque shows, performed in an immersive environment on multiple stages throughout the room, with six dancers, two live bands, an insane laser/light show and state-of-the-art visuals and sound … all creating a kaleidoscopic spectacular of burlesque and nightlife unique to Vegas entertainment.

Join Nevada Humanities Program Manager Kathleen Kuo in conversation with writer and narrative game designer Ashley Warren for a livestreamed Humanities at Play program. Using real life examples from NASA and other sources with education as their focus, they will discuss how tabletop role-playing games have been used to teach history, science, and other critical skills in the classroom and beyond.
Humanities at Play explores and showcases the significance of the humanities in everyday life through games, media, and popular culture. Join them for dynamic and interactive online and in-person events designed to spark thoughtful conversation and reflection.
