    Celebrate AAPI voices through food and poetry. Enjoy a comforting bowl of pho while a Vietnamese chef shares their experiences, and engage in an interactive writing workshop guided by AAPI writers about food, storytelling, and identity.

    From 5:00 to 5:50, listen to a local chef in conversation with Dr. Mark Padoongpatt from UNLV and learn about the importance of AAPI storytelling, food, culture, and community in southern Nevada.

    From 6:00 to 7:00, poetry readings, a group discussion, and an activity led by local AAPI creatives Niko Mendoza and Mei-Mei Mijares.
