A break in the unsolved Tupac Shakur murder case?

According to the website AllHipHop, an imprisoned Dexter Isaac confessed to robbing Tupac in Manhattan in 1994, an event that may have indirectly led to the rapper's murder in Las Vegas in 1996:

Dexter Isaac,an associate of a hip-hop mogul James Rosemond, has confessed to shooting rapper Tupac Shakur in a Manhattan robbery, two years before the singer was murdered in Las Vegas, a crime that is still unsolved. The Tupac shooting, from which he recovered, heightened tensions between East Coast and West Coast rappers and may have led to a retaliatory shooting in which rapperChristopher Wallace, also known as Biggie Smalls, was gunned down.
