Tammy Peterson, Democratic candidate for State Senate 12

Tammy Peterson is one of two Democrats running for the party's nomination in Senate District 8. There is no big ideological difference here but there is a dispute over the way in which the party has given Peterson preferment over Mark Brandon who was running a grassroots campaign within the party. We also look at the policies that Peterson thinks will win her the seat.

Ian Mylchreest inadvertently described Sen. Bill Raggio, R-Reno, as "senate majority leader." He is, of course, the minority leader in the state senate.
