Vegas Inc. reports that Switch's entity SUPERNAP International, which was formed in partnership with investors from ACDC Fund, announced Thursday that it has begun building a $300 million data center in Thailand.

SUPERNAP International CEO Khaled Bichara says the center will be a copy of SUPERNAP facilities in Las Vegas and is expected to be completed in early 2017.

Switch is also building centers in Reno and Milan, Italy.
