Las Vegas-based data-center operator Switch is planning to construct three solar and battery storage developments in Nevada.
The three sites are in Clark and Storey counties.
Energy will be collected through thousands of solar panels and then stored in Tesla Megapacks made at the Tesla factory in Storey County.
Governor Steve Sisolak said in the statement that the new sites will accelerate Nevada’s leadership in the world’s renewable energy economy while creating over a thousand jobs.
