It’s the time of year when people think about seasonal vaccines. And with Nevada ranked as the second-to-worst state in the nation for vaccination rates, experts are adamant that locals get their shots.
But, things will be a bit different this year, at least for COVID boosters. Earlier this year, the Food and Drug Administration approved the updated versions, but with a caveat: they’re only recommended for people 65 and older, as well as those with serious health conditions.
Others, the CDC now says, should speak to their doctors before receiving the shot. What does that mean for people who want the COVID jab?
