Last year was a breakout year for the Las Vegas Lights Football Club, the semi-pro soccer team. They scored the most points in team history, had the most wins, had their first playoff qualification, and made it to the league semi-finals.

In December, their coach went to the semi-pro team in New Mexico.

Last week, Las Vegas announced its new coach as Antonio Nocerino. The native Italian played 17 years in the pros, has played in the Olympics for Italy and retired in 2020.

As the Lights FC fanbase grows, the team is looking to him to keep the momentum growing.
