The 2024 election is over and being certified. What's next in Nevada?

After months of relentless campaign ads and an onslaught of political events, the 2024 election is officially over.

Donald Trump was elected to serve a second term as president, also securing his first win in Nevada. At the same time, the state’s Democratic incumbents in Congress won reelection. The state legislature will remain in Democrat hands, despite the GOP picking up a few seats.

All 17 of Nevada's counties certified the election on Friday, and the state will certify the results on Nov. 26. Still, some questions remain ...

Did the Culinary Union’s un-endorsement end the political careers of some Democrats? Were all of the votes counted? What will the next legislative session look like?
