What are you reading? Talking all things books with four Nevada authors

flickr

It’s getting cold in Las Vegas, which is nice after that brutal summer. And for many people, reading a good book is the perfect thing to do when it’s this cold out.

So today, four local authors and editors are with us to talk about their books, ones we think you really might be interested in.

Books mentioned in this program:

  • Dream City by Douglas Unger
  • Bellowing at the Volcano by Harry Fagel
  • Sex Work Today: Erotic Labor in the Twenty-First Century edited by Bernadette Barton, Barbara G. Brents and Angela Jones
  • Comics Lit Vol. 1 by Tonya Todd and A.R. Farina

Guests: Douglas Unger, author and professor of English, UNLV; Tonya Todd, author, editor and actress; Harry Fagel, poet and author; Barb Brents, author, editor and professor of sociology, UNLV
