Nevada is home to many music festivals, most of them in well-populated Clark County.

But one takes place in McGill, Nevada, a town with a little more than a 1,000 people in a remote part of the state that’s a few hours north of Vegas.

Schellraiser is an intimate gathering of music fans that highlights bands that typically don’t come to Las Vegas. But it hasn’t been easy, especially in a music festival industry that is seeing softer ticket sales.

So how does Schellraiser survive?
