This Nevada Legislature session is over. Here's what happened in the final hours

Nevada lawmakers passed a flurry of measures in the final hours of the legislature. That includes several of Republican Governor Joe Lombardo's top priorities.

Among the bills passed is a massive government modernization bill and a bill giving cities and counties more ways to support charter schools. It also puts new money toward charter school transportation services.

The governor did not, however, get public tax dollars for private schools, which many know as the voucher program.

In addition, he supported the Oakland A’s stadium plan, as well as billions in tax incentives for the movie industry. Neither moved ahead. And the governor said he will call a special session — meaning lawmakers will stay in Carson City for at least another day.

What does this all mean for you?
