Oakland Athletics' Yan Gomes bats against the San Diego Padres during a baseball game in Oakland, Calif., Tuesday, Aug. 3, 2021

The Oakland A’s ballplayers might not be suiting up for spring training yet, but the team’s top brass have kept busy.

If they can’t agree on a deal with Oakland officials, there’s a handful of places they may land in Southern Nevada.

And most of those places are on the Strip.

But a key vote happened in Oakland recently, and momentum may be back in the Bay Area.
