Summer Break Far From Vacation For Clark County School District
Clark County School District officials face a busy summer as they prepare for in-person classes — and continuing distance learning — when school resumes on Aug. 9.
Coming off a year that saw students learn at home, at school, and a blend of the two because of the pandemic, the district is now studying the place distance learning has in the educational process.
The district also needs to study ways to digest the unexpected $500 million in public education funding provided by the Legislature.
