Activists and trade union supporters marched in Las Vegas on Monday in support of Black-owned businesses.
Part of the national Strike for Black Lives, activists groups and Service Employees International Union Local 1107 led a protest at the Sawyer state office building in downtown Las Vegas.
“It is time we boldly declare that Black lives matter and to realize all the ways our fights for racial, economic, health care, immigration, climate and other justice fights are connected,” SEIU Local 1107 Private Sector Vice President Zavia Norman said in a statement.
