Without question, some people have a fascination with blowing things up. And one way people itch that urge is through fireworks around this time of year.
But Nevada’s in the middle of a decades-long drought; the potential for fire in this tinderbox has never been greater.
So police are partnering with Clark County Commissioner Marilyn Kirkpatrick to crack down on illegal fireworks. And there’s an new website to report illegal fireworks.
If you’re caught with them, it could cost you up to $1,000.
