Bringing more airlines from Asia could be vital to the future of Las Vegas.

With tourism from China expected to double to 200 million people over the next five years, how can Las Vegas attract its fair share of Chinese tourists?

Well – an analyst with Global Market Advisors believes the first step is for McCarran International Airport to attract Asian based-carriers.

So, are Asian airlines interested in Las Vegas? And can McCarran handle the increase in air traffic?

Andrew Klebanow, a partner with Global Market Advisors, says the answer to both questions is yes.

He is co-author of the study, “Strategies to Grow International Tourism into Las Vegas and Stimulate Economic Activity.”
