Most of the discussion about climate change has come from the United States Department of Energy. But some military strategists think that has to change.
In fact, they say that global warming threatens national security.
What those threats are and what should be done about them will be the topic for discussion at tomorrow’s meeting of the World Affairs Council of Las Vegas.
The keynote speaker will be retired Brigadier General Stephan Cheney. He is currently CEO of the American Security Project – a defense think tank in Washington.
