Lighting started a wildfireMonday night in Carpenter Canyon in the Spring Mountains. That's just east of Pahrump. The fire expanded rapidly Tuesday afternoon and the Bureau of Land Management is stepping up efforts to contain the fire. We get an update from the BLM.
