Democrats have long relied on the organizational strength of Culinary Local 226 to win them elections. Culinary members have provided foot soldiers for door-knocking and handing out pamplets. And the union has often got its choice elected to office. Now, though, the Culinary may sit out this election to focus on upcoming contract negotiations and its long-running dispute with Station Casinos. We talk with Culinary Secretary-Treasurer D. Taylor to get the Culinary's thinking.
