Music: Therapy for the Brain

As the population ages and dementia threatens to become an epidemic, researchers are looking for ways to stimulate the brain and improve memory. The art of music and the science of the brain come together in Cleveland with the Cleveland Orchestra and the neurologists of the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. The two institutions will be presenting music and a lecture at the Cleveland Ruvo Clinic on Saturday afternoon. We talk about the new therapies with a neurologist and an organizer of the event.
