Developers of the Desert Express high speed train between Las Vegas and Victorville, California are fighting to get the project built despite numerous roadblocks. The developers have had a tough time convincing Las Vegans that Victorville is a good place to connect with Southern California. In the meantime, California rail officials recently resurrected plan that could leave out a stop in Palmdale as part of that state's rail plan. That stop was seen as a logical place to connect Desert Express to Los Angeles by way of a connector from Victorville to Palmdale. So is the Desert Express actually going to be built?
